Where Pets Come First

Bahama Road Veterinary Hospital had its beginnings in an old milk house located on Quail Roost Farms in 1983. After several expansions and remodelings we decided that to continue to provide the highest quality of veterinary care possible we would need to design and build a new hospital. With the majority of our clients residing in Durham, Person or Orange Counties, it was necessary to locate a new hospital where it would be convenient for our clients.
In the fall of 2005 a 6-acre parcel was purchased at the corner of 501 N. and Bahama Road. This tract of land had been used previously for a swine operation and personal residence. After 18 months of negotiations, the site was approved for the construction of a new veterinary hospital. During this delay, numerous veterinary facilities were examined for ideas on how to best serve our clients and care of their pets. We wanted to build a facility where “Pets come first”.
Construction of our new hospital began in spring of 2007 and we opened our doors to serve the public in November 2007. Our hospital was designed to provide the highest standard of care for our patients while ensuring our clients feel comfortable in their visits. Please check out our hospital video tour to visualize the hospital designed to serve you in an environment “Where Pets Come First”.
